Here at First Care Medical Clinic we offer a variety of services to keep you healthy and ensure that you are well taken care of. These services include:

STD Testing and Treatment:

Protecting yourself and preventing STDs is the first step in sexual health. Any sexually active person is at risk of contracting or transmitting a sexually transmitted disease. Here at First Care Medical Clinic, we want to protect both you and your partner from contacting a potentially serious disease. Our friendly, professional staff understand that this is a sensitive matter, and want to make the process of testing as easy as possible, to ensure that you stay healthy. At our clinic, we test for:

  • Chlamydia
  • HIV
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis
  • Hepatitis B (HBV)
  • Hepatitis C (HCV)
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Though we know the results may be scary, you are not alone. If you test positive for an STD, our staff is here to work with you in creating a treatment or management plan to keep you healthy.

Mammograms and Pap Smears:

About 1 in 8 women will develop an invasive form of breast cancer in their lifetime, we realize these statistics can be scary, however early detection offers the best chance of successful treatment. It is recommended that women over the age of 50 be screened every two years; while women under 50 should speak with their doctor about how often they should be screened (often depending on family history). At First Care Medical Clinic, you never need an appointment for a mammogram, and our reliable staff work to process you as quickly as possible

Pap Smears, along with mammograms are some of the most important tests that need to be done to keep you healthy and cancer-free. It is suggested that women over the age of 21 be screened every three years. This screening is minimally invasive, generally pain free, and only takes about 10-20 minutes. The test is instrumental in early detection, and will both screen for cancerous cells, and detect cells that are at risk of becoming cancerous. If caught early, treatment is much more likely to be successful. As with mammogram screening, an appointment is never needed for a pap smear, so there is no more reason to put off these incredibly important tests any longer

Supervised Weight Loss:

Here at First Care Medical Clinic, we know that no body is quite the same, and every person has their own unique weight loss challenges, and weight loss can be a struggle, but here at First Care Medical Clinic we want to help you reach your goals. Our experienced staff can help come up with a customized weight loss plan to fit your needs and schedule, even if you face the challenges of underlying medical conditions, to help you achieve your healthcare goals.
