To ensure that you get all of the care you need, we offer a variety of services, screenings, and treatments, including:

STD Testing and Treatment:

Any sexually active person is at risk for contracting and transmitting STDs; this often happens without the person being aware that they are even infected. Getting regularly tested ensures the health of both you and your partner, and early detection can prevent the disease from progressing into a more serious problem. Our compassionate staff is aware that this can be a sensitive matter, and are always sure to treat patients with the utmost respect and care. We want to be sure that you and your partner are safe and healthy, that is why we offer testing for:

  • Chlamydia
  • HIV
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis
  • Hepatitis B (HBV)
  • Hepatitis C (HCV)
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

If in the event you test positive for an STD, our staff wants to make sure you are not alone in the process, and will work to create a treatment or management plan for your needs.

Mammograms and Pap Smears:

One of the most important services we offer is screenings for breast and cervical cancer; these are monumentally important, as early detection can be the key to a successful treatment. The procedure for mammograms and Pap smears is relatively quick and minimally invasive, and they never require an appointment, so there is no reason to delay such an important screening. It is suggested that patients over 50 be screened for breast cancer every two years, while those under 50 should speak with their doctor about their risk levels to determine how often the procedure should be done. Breast cancer can be particularly tricky, as symptoms often don’t show until an advanced stage. For Pap smears, it is suggested that all patients over 21 be screened every three years to ensure that no cancer is developing; the Pap smear can also determine whether the patient is at risk for developing cervical cancer if it has not already developed.

Supervised Weight Loss:

Weight Loss can be a seemingly universal struggle for women, even more so if there are underlying medical conditions that pose additional problems. That is why here at First Care Medical Clinic, we offer services to design a weight loss program that works for you. Our friendly staff knows that every body is different and can help craft a unique plan to help you reach your goals.
